The Tulsa Gun Club recently released preliminary sketches of its new club house at it’s annual All Member Meeting held February  9th, 2010.

The new club house will offer much improved meeting facilities and expansion of services to members including training sessions by various certified instructors. It will increase capacity for board member meetings which are open to all members. Weekly Range Safety instruction will have much needed room and better privacy.

The improvements will allow for continued growth while providing flood abatement for the clubhouse at the same time. Portions of the original building will remain, and some items of historic nature will be found in the new building. The original building built by the Boy Scouts in the late 1960’s is a sandstone and mortar construction with a rustic wood-burning fireplace.
