Membership

 

The 2010 Membership forms are now available.

Just a reminder that you can save by renewing your membership before January 31st 2010. Renewals are typically accepted starting Dec. 1st for the new year.

2010 Tulsa Gun Club Application

The Tulsa Gun Club (TGC) was organized in 1946 to promote target shooting, markmanship and gun handling safety. It is a non-profit Oklahoma corporation, governed by a Board of Directors (BOD). The Board consist of a President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary, Club Manager and 5 directors. The club manager reports through the Board of Directors. The cub is also affilated with the Tulsa County’s Sheriffs Office and is used by them for thier marksmanship training.

Membership is open to any individual who is a citizen of the US and has no record or prior felony convictions. Membership is based on a calendar year. The club inititation fee and dues are established annually by the BOD. TGC offers membership to individuals and families. Our memberships include the use of all facilities at anytime during normal business hours. A club membership covers an individual, spouse, and minor children. The club is open Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. The club phone number is (918) 272-0262.

Annual Membership Fees

Under 60 years    $108.52 (sales tax included)+ Initiation Fee, Over 60 years $65.11 (sales tax included)+ Initiation Fee
Initiation Fee (All Members) $54.26 (sales tax included)

All renewels paid before 01/31/09 do not have to pay initiation fee.

Membership requirements stipulate that you must apply and be approved for membership by the BOD. You can download a copy of the application for membership(in .pdf format) by clicking here:2010-membership-app

The TGC Board meets each month on the 2nd Tuesday. Elections of club officers is held at the regular board meeting in February of each year.

All members are welcomed and encouraged to attend  board meetings.

Facilities

Presently we have the following capabilities:

  • Archery – A new facilitie has been constructed at the front entrance.
  • Pistol – Any caliber -5-50 yards max, paper targets only.
  • Rifle – Big bore rifles can be shot on Saturday and Sunday mornings only – 50 yards max, paper targets only. Small bore may beshot at any time the club is open.
  • Skeet – 5 fields are currently in play.
  • Trap – 1 primary field, 4 optional fields.

Currently we are holding Concealed / Carry Classes. Reservations are required. Click Here for more information..

We also have a New Shooters Clinic which we conduct on the 3rd Saturday of each month. Reservations are required. Click Here for more info.

SCTP

Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) is a nationwide program for youth 10 – 18 years of age. The goal of the progam is to teach young shooters SAFE and responsible handling of firearms. Additionally, character, citizenship, scholastic achievement and teamwork are developed. Youth are introduced to a lifetime sport that families can enjoy together.
